we require at least FOUR weeks of advance notice of your trip. you will receive your package at least one week prior to your departure.
no. we never make commission from the businesses or organizations we promote, we send you there because of the quality of the product and/or experience they can offer. this is another reason co-mads is so unique.
no! the cost remains the same if there is one person going on the trip vs. five people, which means you can split the cost of the package with friends and family! wahoo! please be sure to specify how many people you’re traveling with in the co-mads profile and ensure when you are answering the questions, you take your fellow travelers into account.
there are a few reasons for this…
while gabby (founder) was traveling abroad for a series of months, she met many other american travelers who had traveled all over the world, but had little to no experience traveling within the states. they felt that traveling within the states was too expensive and they didn’t really know how to find where the authentic, cool spots were. gabby knew how to travel the states on a budget AND where the authentic, cool spots were, so she decided to use co-mads as a vehicle for shifting travel culture within the states.
- there’s a lot of community work that needs to be done within the states. if we can lend a helping hand in our own backyards, everyone benefits.
- the united states is an absolutely incredible country. unreal nature, incredibly diverse cities, culture at every turn…let us help you explore it, and leave an impact.
no. when you buy a package, you are paying for co-mads to design a day-to-day itinerary catered to your interests with recommendations as to where to go, what to do, etc. NO costs associated with your trip are included. if you need help booking flights/accommodations, etc. we would be more than happy to give you recommendations as to how to go about doing that.
